Negotiations between Studentbostäder i Linköping AB and Kårservice in Östergötland AB have resulted in a two part rental adjustment. Student apartments will be subject to a 1.8% increase from 1 July and rental charges for corridor rooms will increase by SEK 45-55 per month and room.
This year’s rental adjustment is motivated by increased running costs involving electricity, heating and water. These increased costs are not so much due to higher consumption levels but to increases in charges and taxes.
The extra income derived from these rental increases amount to SEK M 2.8 per annum which will offset increased running costs so that we can maintain our present maintenance level.
