Why is re-lining needed?
Many of the pipes were installed when the buildings were built during the 1960’s. There have been several damages caused by broken pipes and other similar problems.
One way to prevent these damages is by re-lining the pipes. This means that a new plastic pipe will be installed in the original pipe. This will be constructed during the summer.
Estimated times
The constructions will start on June 14 and will end no later than July 31.
The constructions will origin from the roof and the drainage, which means that access to all apartments is required.
When access is needed to your accommodation, you will be informed of this 3 days in advance. After this, you will able to use WC and shower as usual.
The water will be turned off during some periods and it is important that you don’t flush the toilet, use the shower or the kitchen during these periods. You will receive continuous updates concerning the water and when it will be switched off.
Temporary WC and shower
Between June 14 and 18 all tenants will have access to apartment 309 in building 22 to use the bathroom.
From June 19 the same apartment and the sauna in building 24 can be used.
