Subletting 

You can sublet your apartment to someone else during a limited period of time.

How to get permission to sublet?
The application form seeking permission to sublet an apartment is available at the Studentbostäder office on Mårdtorpsgatan 25 or you can click on "Forms" in the menu to the left.

    What certification do I need?

    The type of certification depends upon what you will be doing during the time the apartment is sublet.

    To study in other area/other country
    Letter of acceptance

    • Certificate permitting study recess from Linköping university.
    • Ladok Print out stating you have not completed your course at Linköping university.
    • Overseas studies require a witnessed Power of Attorney document which must be submitted together with application.
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University.

    Working in other area/other country

    • Employment contract from employer Certificate permitting study recess from Linköping University.
    • Ladok Print out stating you have not completed your course at Linköping university
    • Overseas employment requires a witnessed Power of Attorney document which must be submitted together with application.
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University.

    Study recess

    • Certificate permitting study recess from Linköping university
    • Ladok Print out stating you have not completed your course at Linköping university
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University.

    Travel

    • Tickets or travel programme
    • Certificate permitting study recess from Linköping university
    • Ladok Print out stating you have not completed your course at Linköping university
    • Overseas travel requires a witnessed Power of Attorney document which must be submitted together with application.
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University.

    Military service

    • Certificate confirming military service
    • Certificate permitting study recess from Linköping university
    • Ladok Print out stating you have not completed your course at Linköping university
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University.

    To live with a partner

    • A permanent address
    • Certificate which states that the student subletting your apartment is an active student at Linköping University
