Queue points

Our Queue System
As of the year the applicant turns 17 years they are permitted to register in Studentbostäder’s housing queue. To register click on "Registration" in the menu to the left.

Studentbostäder’s queue system is based on acquiring points. Each point is the equivalent of one day counting from the first day the applicant registers in the housing queue. The applicant must personally register in the queue on the website and update this registration every 6 months to continue acquiring points. It is also the applicants responsibility to maintain their own contact details.
The user account and queue points gained are personal and cannot be transferred to another person. If Studentbostäder personnel suspect that irregularities concerning the user account have taken place or occurred during the contract procedure, we reserve the right to cancel the rental agreement.

Available housing is published on the website and the person with the most points will be offered the accommodation.
If an applicant turns down five offered accommodations within a year, that person’s accumulated points will be cancelled and the person will start from zero. If a tenant has received two late-payment demands within 6 months, they will not be permitted to apply for alternative available housing for a period of 6 months.
Tenants who have lived less than 3 months in Studentbostäder housing accommodation will not be given priority if the tenant moves between corridor rooms.
