On the first day of each month there are many people visiting our office as this is hand-over day. Therefore we do advise you, if possible, to visit the office another day.
Getting the keys
The moving in day is the day when the contract begins. You may collect the keys after 12.00 on that day or alternatively at a later day during office hours (09.00 - 17.00).
If the moving in day is a Saturday, Sunday or another public holiday you may collect the keys on the first working day after the weekend/holiday.
You can get the keys at our office at Mårdtorpsgatan 25, but do not forget to bring:
- your contract
- identification (passport, LiU-card etc)
To move in earlier
If you want to move in to your apartment/corridor room earlier than stated on the contract you will need to contact the out-going tenant. You can get one key directly from the present tenant, not all of them! But we recommend you to come and get booth of the keys at our office.
If the keys have been returned to our office and you have gained permission to move in earlier, we need to be notified by the outgoing tenant of this change.

Common and shared areas
Think about hygiene and health and show consideration in your cooridor (clean up after yourself).
One tip is to draw up a weekly kitchen schedule where each person is allocated a specific week for seeing the kitchen is kept clean and tidy.
It is also a good idea to hold corridor meetings on a specific day.
