On Västra Vägen 10 is located a four storey residential block which was renovated and adapted into student accommodation in 1995. It´s not far from the student accommodation area called Flamman.

Fjärilen, as the building is called, is close to the city centre, the Faculty of Health Sciences and not far from the Campus. The students meeting place in the city centre is called Nationernas Hus and this is only a short cycle ride from this house as is the city library.

Fjärilen offers a choice of unfurnished accommodation which includes one room or two room apartments each with their own small kitchen area and bathroom. The apartments are light and pleasant, all well equipped to a high standard which includes microwave ovens and laminate floors in beech. Each floor has its own common area and on the top floor is a sauna.
