What we offer

Studentbostäder, Stångåstaden and St Kors have buildt 183 student apartments, 31 regular apartments and commercial premises by the square in Vallastaden. A number of student homes will be built according to a new concept which involves student architects and their designs. That were the result from an architects competition run by Studentbostäder. The winning architect got the chance to turn their designs into reality.

Location and service

The new district is being developed between Vallaskogen and Lambohovsleden, close to the university and within cycle distance to Mjärdevi, the hospital and the city centre. Both excellent bus connections and cycle paths make living in Vallastaden very easy. Car use will be minimised by clever solutions in the form of an indoor carpark and carpool. In close proximity of the homes only short stay car parking will be permitted.

Home & Society Expo

Vallastaden were in 2017 the subject of a Home & Society Expo that generated great interest both nationally and internationally. For three weeks the Expo were open for visitors from the general public, the press, politicians, and other interested groups. More information about the project can be found at Vallastaden 2017.
