Moving out<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

There is a lot to think about when you are moving out of your home, such as registering a change of address, mail forwarding, handling of keys and cleaning. Here is a checklist that to help you keep track of the most important things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notice of termination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The notice period is stated in the contract, which you can see on My Pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can easily cancel your contract digital with draw signature or BankID on My pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Change of address<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When you change residences, it is important to submit a moving notification to the Swedish Tax Agency<\/a>\u200b\u202fn order for mail from public agencies to arrive at your new address. You must provide notification of a change of address to e.g., insurance companies, banks, associations and friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After you have terminated your contract, we arrange an inspection of your home, some time during the last two weeks when you are still living there. At that time, we will inspect the condition of the object and any damage that has occurred. We can carry out the inspection even if you are not at home, but if you want to take part in the inspection, and the time is not appropriate, you must contact your inspector. If you do not know who will perform the inspection, kindly reach out to the contact person in your area, send us an e-mail or chat with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vacating early<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to leave the apartment to the next tenant earlier than the scheduled move-in date, you will have to inform us that you will. You can also give one key the next tenant by hand, but the other must be left in to St\u00e5ng\u00e5stadens office (Tornbyv\u00e4gen 1)<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When cleaning the apartment, you must be thorough, and you should expect it to take longer than you think. If you are unsure, review the checklist<\/a> or contact your Customer Manager. The person who is going to move in after you has the right to enter a well-cleaned apartment, and it is your responsibility to ensure that this is the case, no matter what the condition of the residence was when you moved in. If the apartment is not properly cleaned, you have to pay for a cleaning service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a tenant, you have the opportunity to book move-out cleaning at a discounted price. You get a discount with both Coor and Nils Flyttst\u00e4d. To receive the discount, you need to show your rent invoice as proof that you are a tenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As a tenant, you are obligated to show your flat to the next possible tenant during your period of notice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pick up a parking permit at [hg], so you can park your car outside the house while carrying your stuff out.
You should be ready to leave the apartment and return the keys, no later than 12.00 p.m. on the first working day after your rental period has expired, see excerpts from Swedish Housing Act here<\/a>. Take an extra look at the apartment before locking the doors, and make sure all windows are closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
