Welcome to Folkungavallen

At Folkungavallen, we are building 112 new student apartments in a central and growing area, within easy walking distance of Campus US. Folkungavallen is located just a short walk from the city centre, next to Linköping’s new swimming centre. The surrounding area offers grocery stores, restaurants and other services, and the neighbourhood continues to develop with new homes and meeting places.

Apartments will be released in three phases between 6 and 17 September. Take this opportunity to be among the first to move into our brand-new student apartments at Folkungavallen, conveniently located close to Campus US.

On 29 September, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you are welcome to attend a viewing of the apartments. You’ll have the opportunity to take a closer look at one of the apartments and ask any questions you may have.

The apartments

At Folkungavallen, we are building 112 student apartments. Most of the apartments, 98 in total, are studio apartments with a kitchenette, ranging from 20 to 29 square metres. The remaining 14 apartments are one-bedroom apartments with a kitchenette, measuring 34 square metres. When you enter the building, you are welcomed by a large lounge area where you can study or spend time with your neighbours. The shared laundry room is located adjacent to the lounge. At the top of the building, you will find a shared rooftop terrace, as well as a common room and a dedicated study room.

The building has been constructed in accordance with the Miljöbyggnad Silver standard, which sets high requirements for factors such as acoustics, lighting, and indoor climate. This means, for example, a quieter home with less outside disturbance, plenty of natural daylight, and a comfortable indoor environment. At the same time, the building is energy-efficient and designed with consideration for both the people who live here and the environment.
