Household insurance
As a student you need your own home insurance to protect your home and your possessions. Länsförsäkringar Östgöta and Studentbostäder have collaborated to offer you 20% off your home insurance.
If you experience a fire in your home, it is your own home insurance that covers damages to personal belongings, furniture, and other personal possessions. The home insurance also includes a liability part that covers costs if you or someone in your household causes a fire through negligence or carelessness.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid home insurance. Keep in mind that your home insurance must remain valid throughout the entire contract period, even if you move out earlier. You are responsible for any damages that may occur in the apartment until your contract officially ends.
