We’re changing banks – New bank giro number for your rent payments
As part of the Linköping Municipality Group, we are changing banks. Starting with the rent invoice sent out in Nowember 2025 (the rent for December), rent payments should be made to a bank giro instead of a plus giro account. The new bank giro number will be clearly stated on your rent invoice.
Our bank giro numbers
- Stångåstaden Student: Bankgironumber 5101-2490
Note: Always use the OCR/reference number printed on your current rent invoice.
Do I need to do anything?
- If you use manual payment via online banking you need to update the recipient to the correct bank giro number (see above) the next time you pay.
What is changing – and what’s not?
- Changing: Payment account (from PlusGiro to BankGiro).
- Not changing: Your rent amount, due date, OCR/reference number, or agreement.
How to pay via online banking
1. Log in to your online bank and select Pay/Transfer.
2. Choose BankGiro as the payment method.
3. Enter the bank giro number (see list above), amount, due date, and OCR/reference number from your rent invoice.
4. Save the recipient for future payments if you wish.
